Knee Pain & Performance
What causes pain under my kneecap?
Patellofemoral Pain (Runner's Knee) is poor kneecap tracking. We resolve this by strengthening your hips and quads and correcting foot/ankle landing mechanics.
Can a meniscus tear heal without surgery?
Yes. Many meniscus tears respond beautifully to low-impact leg strengthening, joint swelling management, and progressive rotational stability work.
How do you rehab an ACL injury?
Whether conservative or post-surgery, ACL recovery requires intensive hamstring/quad balance, landing control, and structured sport-specific strength drills.
What is knee osteoarthritis?
Cartilage wear causing stiffness. We utilize unloading manual techniques, aquatic-type load prep, and progressive resistance training to protect and support the joint.
What is Jumper’s Knee?
Patellar tendonitis is inflammation below the kneecap. PT uses specific heavy loading protocols (isometrics and slow heavy eccentrics) to reconstruct tendon durability.
Why does the outer knee burn?
IT Band Syndrome is friction against the knee joint. We solve this by addressing hip muscle weakness and running mechanics, taking pressure off the outer knee completely.
